Travel is a big passion of mine and I am always planning on a “next trip”. I have met incredible people, heard unbelievable stories and seen weird things. I also enjoy exploring art, architecture, food and local festivals when I am on a trip. I end up taking a ton of photographs, which I really like. (Please request permission to use any of the photographs on this site).
I hugely enjoy water sports – especially snorkeling (in relatively warm waters) and swimming. I want to learn diving soon, get certified and go hang out with the cool dolphins ;).
I have learnt the traditional Indian dance of Bharatnatyam for 8 years and have given 2 major dance performances when I lived there. While living in Vancouver I had the opportunity to learn other types of dance and I have started to learn Salsa. I enjoy going to dance events and shows. Now, in France, I am exploring different kinds of dance, including Jazz and African dance.
Being a total and complete geek, I love watching shows like the Big bang theory and criminal minds as well as watching documentaries.
I have developed a keen interest in Neuroethics and Neuroscience in law. I think these are fascinating emergent field that will revolutionize the way we think of the criminal-justice system and what is considered right and wrong by society.
During my undergrad, I led a group to build a Rube Goldberg machine for an Engineering competition. It was an interesting and (very surprisingly) successful project and ever since I have a healthy admiration for the creativity, effort and patience that goes into building these.
More resources on many of the above topics can be found elsewhere on this website, and I am happy to chat about any of them!
